1) So what's the purpose of this site?

This site was created out of a need to gather online Mandarin resources and share them with other people, and vice versa. When I started learning Mandarin no such place existed, therefore I wanted everyone to come together and share resources and meet great new people to share in the experience of learning Mandarin.

2) What can I post as an article?

Anything that involves Mandarin, but more specifically things that focus on learning the language. For example: if you learn Mandarin by listening to Mandopop post some links so we can share in your experience and try to figure out the lyrics! Share Mandarin.

3) I submitted an article, but it's not showing on the home/front page?

This is due your article being "fresh", so it goes to the Upcoming queue. To get your submission to the front page, an admin or moderator needs to promote it, or it needs to get 2 or more votes. This was created to stop spam accounts from creating articles to bounce to the frontpage and therefore send out to Twitter. Most articles will surely go to the frontpage, the upcoming queue is just a holding bay for now.

4) My article was deleted, why is this?

This was probably due to it being rude, lewd or not entirely focused on Mandarin. This will, however, happen seldomly.

5) Who created this site?

Niel de la Rouviere from http://confusedlaowai.com. He has been studying Mandarin since 2008.
